ERWIN HUBER

Manager

Born and raised in the ski resort of Bad Hofgastein, Erwin initially went off to sunny faraway places. As a 20-year-old, he acquired professional experience in Greece, Spain, Portugal and Turkey. Last but not least, he spent a few years in Cypress before finally tracing an arc back home to Bad Reichenhall via Cologne and Munich. After eventful experiences during his stays abroad, a longing to return to his local mountains and the  mindset of its people grew in him. Both of these come together in “The RUNDUM” project. With a Mediterranean light touch as a secret ingredient, Erwin refined the organisational everyday life of the boarding house into a successful symbiosis of management, hospitality and a healthy portion of Pongau joviality. After a successful construction phase, the boarding house manager is now pleased to greet our first guests with a “Grüß Gott” that comes straight from the heart.

Panagiotis Papadellis

Front Office Manager

“Two sides of the same coin” symbolize the inseparable and shared identity of two features. The same applies to Panagiotis’ life-course which essentially is a balanced interplay between German and Greek. With Greek blood in his veins he was born in the Franconia of Nürnberg and grew up in Fürth. After his graduation he began his career path in the retail sector, where he worked at well known food and warehouse chains, both in Germany and Greece. In 2007 he decided to follow a different career path, leading him to the hotel industry in which he started as a receptionist at a large German hotel-club-chain located on the Greek Peninsula Peloponnes. Equipped with his expertise and the right mixture of hospitality, service and charm he was ready to tackle bigger challenges. He worked as receptionist and night auditor at Tegernsee as well as a front office manager in Franconian Switzerland and Bamberg. As of march 2023 Panagiotis welcomes the guests of the boardinghouse “Das RUNDUM” with a cordial „καλώς ορίσατε” (kalós orísate).

Tanja Kollross

Front Office Agent

Legend has it that the sun rises twice a day at the RUNDUM Boarding House – at least that’s how the local saying goes. Tanja has been welcoming travellers with her cheerful nature and heart-warming radiance since April 2022. Previously, the trained hotel manageress worked in various hotels in Bavaria. One of her professional stopovers included Munich Airport. But it’s not only in a professional context that she embodies an affinity to the region: on balmy summer evenings, Tanya likes to refresh herself in Lake Thumsee or enjoy nature from the valleys and peaks of Reichenhall’s local mountains – Zwiesel, Hochstaufen and Predigtstuhl. Because Tanja sees and appreciates the good in everyone and everything, she also knows about the fine art of enjoyment. That’s why the Boarding House’s guests get the best advice from her when it comes to local insider tips about nature, cuisine and experiences.

Christina Siglbauer

Front Office Agent

Like hardly another young woman of her age, Christina lives a double life. She completed her training in hotel management in 2021 and since then has strengthened the team behind the reception desk of the RUNDUM as a receptionist. The signal to mark the end of the working day sounds like the heartbeat of her second life: stepping out from the door of the boarding house, Christina returns to her parent’s mountain farmhouse in Ruhpolding. There is a lot to be done both on the farm and in the regional business: the business as well as the numerous farm animals – including around 200 chickens, 30 ducks, 25 turkeys, 20 geese, 8 sheep and 7 highland cattle – need to be attended to. Her tasks also include the sale of products derived from these animals. Christina demonstrates her negotiating and organising talent every single day as well as her warm-heartedness, which not least benefits the boarding house’s guests.

Viktoria Kalicz

Executive Housekeeper

After successfully graduating in tourism, this native Hungarian has strengthened the housekeeping team of the boarding house since around the middle of 2021. Viktoria had her first point of contact with the parent company in her home town of Ózd, where the Max Aicher Foundation operates a steelworks. She has lived in Germany for six years and during this time has become familiar with many different aspects of her second home – whether linguistically, from the summits of the local mountains, or from the cross-country ski tracks of the winter tourism areas. She has acquired professional experience in housekeeping at various hotels in the region. Viktoria’s know-how concerning all aspects of tidiness and cleanliness could be incorporated right from the boarding house’s design and construction phase. She also finds space for her ideas and creative development in her short stories. With Viktoria, the RUNDUM has gained a disciplined business professional who hasn’t lost her love for detail amidst everyday routines.
